FLAW / THROUGH THE EYES

Mixing the heaviness of Slipknot with the angst of Staind, Flaw are the latest Nu Metal contenders and their Jazz tinged harmonies are set to grace MTV and American Radio alike.

The sorrowful harmonies reminiscent of Alice In Chains are grunge like and songs like "Only The Strong", My Letter" and "What I Have To Do" ooze out of the speakers in a mournful but heavy way that is strangely appealing. The emphasis is definitely on the songs but that's no bad thing as Dry Kill Logic and Ill Nino have found out and look at the success of Staind in the UK and the US, so I see no reason why Flaw should not join these on the road to the top.

If you like the Staind CD, a few really heavy songs interspersed with some slower moodier ones then this is the one for you and you can tell all your friends that you were their first. Stand out tracks include "Best I Am", "My Letter" and "Only The Stirring" which I suspect will be the first single as it has hit potential written all over it. This is an album to listen to late at night in its entirety.
