WITCHERY / DON’T FEAR THE REAPER

It’s been a long 5 years since the last Witchery CD but thanks to a new worldwide deal with Century Media the wait is over and I have to say its been well worth as this is probably the best album from these guys so far.

The blend of catchy, riff laden, headbanging Black Metal is a real treat to the ears, they have added a few more tricks up their sleeve, in fact the tracks "Plague Rider" and "Cannonfodder" as worth of the mighty Slayer and one track called "Ashes" even has keyboards in it and comes across more akin to Dimmu Borgir, add to this a cover of Satanic Slaughter track "Immortal Death" an instrumental called "Wait Of The Pyramids" that has some really good fretwork in it and what you have is an essential purchase. This made album of the week on my weekly Pipeline Radio show and deservedly so, don’t miss this little gem.
