DECAPITATED / ORGANIC HALLUCINOSIS

This Polish Death Metal band have had a lot of changes over the past year or so but still somehow manage to pull a very good album out of the bag that in some respects is even better than the last one nearly 2 years ago.

The new singer and bassist add a new dimension to the band but not too dissimilar that they loose continuity, this CD if anything has a more aggressive, more powerful stance than before and there are some very nice time changes that give some songs an almost Progressive feel to them, check out "A Poem About An Old Prison" in fact this is so good its worthy of the mighty Slayer and could well be the "Age Of Death" for the new millennium, yes its that good. The power and speed is still there as "Day 69" aptly demonstrates, put this together with the heavy as hell "Revelations of Existence" and "Invisible Control" and you have a very fine modern Death Metal album. This comes as a Dual Disc with a 42 minutes live DVD on the other side that makes this a short but essential purchase.
